The 2022 Heysen Sculpture Biennial 'Political Climate' opened on Saturday 22 October at Carrick Hill, Kaurna Yarta, to a crowd of over 300 guests.
With thanks to Ashum Yarlupina Owen from Ngangki Warra for the Welcome to Country, and Greg Mackie OAM for officially opening the exhibition.
Curated by Leah Grace, the exhibition features sculptures by 22 artists/collaborations: Greg Johns, Clancy Warner, Quentin Gore, Greg Hatcher, Sonali Patel, Karl Meyer, Samuel Mulcahy, Marijan Bekic, Wes The Pants, Lindy Sando & Vaughan Taylor, JoJo Spook, Tim Shaw, Georgina Allain, Lorry Wedding Marchioro, Oakey, Westley Tully, Deb Sleeman, Jane Skeer, Wills Projects, Tom Borgas, David Atkins and Nicholas Uhlmann.
