The Heysen Sculpture Biennial is managed by the Heysen Sculpture Biennial Inc. which is a not for profit Incorporated Association. A volunteer committee of professional visual artists and lovers of contemporary visual arts manages the Heysen Sculpture Biennial Inc.

The Heysen Sculpture Biennial is held at The Cedars, outside Hahndorf, South Australia. The Cedars is the site of the former home and studio of Sir Hans Heysen, one of Australia's most famous landscape painters.

Getting to The Cedars

The grounds of The Cedars and the studio of Hans Heysen are open 10 to 4:30 Tuesday to Sunday. Closed Christmas Day and Mondays, public holidays excepted. A small fee is payable at the shop for entry to the grounds.

From Adelaide travel via the South Eastern Freeway to Hahndorf. Exit the Freeway at Hahndorf (B), just before entering the village turn left into Ambleside Road. Continue for one kilometre to Heysen Road and then turn left into the parking lot for The Cedars (A).
